The events are almost toppling each other, the programme is filled to the brim - how do you keep an overview within this abundance? Here’s where the YOUKI editorial team comes in, documenting the daily festival events, engaging with the festival theme, and creating live streams to offer a glimpse for anyone who won’t be able to be here. The world of editorial media can be explored in three departments. The editing departments are creating radio shows, TV and YouTube contributions, and a magazine. Led by experienced media creators participants are able to discover their creative spark and gain valuable experiences.
The film competition and the following talks can be viewed live on dorf.tv. YOUKI is also broadcasting exclusive scoops, interviews, and short clips from the festival. Everyone who’d like to learn about the workings of TV is cordially invited to to co-create the different formats.
Radio YOUKI with Aslihan Özüyilmaz and FM4
It’s also possible to get YOUKI straight into your ears. We offer podcasts, interviews, bootlegs of concerts, and recordings of the auditory atmosphere in the festival centre. ASLIHAN ÖZüYILMAZ takes you into her radio world for the week. There’ll also be a visit by FM4 to create a programme with the editorial team.
YOUKIzine with Johannes Pucher and Sarah Nägele
It has already become a tradition for the YOUKI editing team to create a bespoke magazine to be released after the festival. A blog and a newsletter show glimpses into festival life during the YOUKI week as well. The participants of the editing team are supported in their quest for realising their vision by JOHANNES PUCHER and SARAH N.GELE, two professional young journalists who will impart tools for successful journalism and offer glances into the production of a magazine.
